Adoption is good! :)

Hi, everyone! This is Keisha. Welcome to my blog today. I am writing for a special reason. The nice people at Pedigree, who make dog food and lots of other stuff, are having an event where they will donate a bag of food to shelters nationwide, for everyone who writes a blog post about their "Pedigree Adoption Drive." That's what this is! Hooray! :)

I was adopted, you know. Six years ago, my human friends came to meet me at a shelter in Palm Harbor, Florida. They looked at me and asked if they could take me out of my cage. I had been there only one day. My nice human from before had to give me up because she could not take care of me anymore. Don't worry, though, there is a happy part. The new people looked at me, and I walked around, sniffed a little, and got to know them. I was glad! :) They were, too. So, my new human friends decided to take me home, forever. I got adopted! Hooray! :) That is very important, because adoption saves the lives of critters who are in shelters or rescue groups. Please adopt your next pet. It is a good thing to do. :)

Thank you very much for reading my post. If you want to learn about the very nice people at the Humane Society of Pinellas County, please take a look at their website. Also, my friend D.R. likes to volunteer at another shelter, here. If you want to help animals, you can do a web search for your local shelter. It's simple and fun to help them out, whether you can cuddle a cat or bring in a bag of food. You will have lots of happy smiles, to boot! :)

Okay, see you soon. Bye! :)

Thank u, Rufus and Indie. :) I like Pedigree. I have had their food, it is really good. :) I am so glad I was adopted, because I went from one nice home, to another. My wish is that all critters who don't have homes, may find good ones. :)

We are so happy that you joined us and all of the other dogs in the dog-blog-pack to help feed shelter pets who are waiting for FURever families. We are also so furry happy that you found your FURever home - it's a good feeling, isn't it?

Hi Keisha! What a PAWsome adoption story. We are so happy that you found such a wonderful forever home. :)

We volunteer at our local shelter, and it is so rewarding for us to help the amazing woofies and kitties find homes of their very own.

Have a great day!
