Happy Birthday to D.R.'s Dad!!! :) :) :)

O hai! This is Keisha, the spaniel dog. I are havin a good day with mah friends. I hope u are, too! :)


Today is the very special birthday of my hooman friend D.R.'s Dad!! :) The hoomans all went to a Chinese restaurant and had lunch. It was a lot of fun. I am very full of happy for my Dad. He is a good Dad and takes very good care of me. Yay! :)


I been restin on the couch a lot. Mom was wurried because I slept late today. I was okay when she came back from the lunch place, though. Sometimes u just need a long nap and some water. :)


I saw a kitty cat and a duck yesterday!! Oh, boy! They just walked out from the fence behind the neighbor's house. I barked a lot. D.R. was swimmin in the pool at the time, so I also went over to her, and she petted me. I get all scaird when critters just walk out with no warnin. They went back to the neighbor's place after that.


Mom fed the fish for Dad today. Dad has two tanks of pretty fishies, and I like to go on the back porch and watch them sometimes. They are all sorts of colors. They go bloop-bloop-bloop in the water. :)


Mom is going swimming. I think I am gonna sit by the sliding door of the porch and watch her from inside, where it's cool. :) Thank u. See u soon! Happy Caturday!!

I has some good news. Thank u to all the critters and hoomans who wished for me to get better. I am feelin a little better today! :) I went outside for lots of walkies yesterday, and I rested on the couch, and that helped.


Mom and Dad and D.R. helped me. Mom put rice in my dish. Rice is good sometimes for dog tummies if u are sick. Dad let me watch teevee with him. We watched the nooz and the weather. On the nooz, there were people from Con-griss yelling at each other. D.R. said that made her very Sad. She pet me a lot, though, and we both felt better. :)


D.R. went for a swim yesterday! She said it was really good. She wore a special mask for her face. This made her able to go underwater and still see everything.

I are sick :(

O hai, my name is Keisha. I am a dog and this is mah blog about stuff. Thank u for reading it!! :)


Today, I has a not so good nooz. I was sick last nite, and this morning. I had four accidents on the carpet in the front room, plus I also trew up. :( Now I am feelin a little better, because my Mom and Dad gived me rice to settle my tummy, and I went for lots of walkies. D.R. was very worried about me. She called Dad after work. Dad said I was doing better, so D.R. felt releeved. I didn't go to the vet, just stayed home. :) I been drinkin water and walkin around kinda slowly. I am gonna watch teevee with Mom.


In better nooz, D.R. says she saw lots of pretty birdees. She saw cranes, ducks and lots of little birds that flew really fast. I can't run so much today, or I would have gone to sniff some of them.


Tonite, I hope I can have some tummy pats, and maybe fall asleep on the couch. That's a nice place to think about stuff. It also has big fluffy pillows. Mom stacks them up in a pile, so I can rest my head on them. D.R. says I look like a person that way. :) Yay!

The other day, a guy came to our house to fix the pool. He fixed a broken thing in the side of the pool that made it lose water. Then he put clean stuff in the water, and made it all ripply and shiny. It really looks like a hotel pool! Wow. My hooman friends like it a lot. I think it is pretty. :) I barked when the pool guy came here, but Mom says he is okay, so maybe next time I'll just sniff.


I had a tummy crumple today. I guess I eated somethin that wasn't so good, even though I like everything. Mom had to take me for walkies a lot of times. I am gonna drink some water and lie down. I bet I'll be okay. :)


D.R. didn't have to stay extra more time at her office today. She said they got some new people, and they are nice. :) I wish I could go there. I think they have caramel bits in the candy dish. Also, they had muffins this morning. :)


My Dad cut up two tennis balls and put them on the bottom of his walker. I like to chase the tennis ball. I wonder if Dad will let me help him push the walker?


My Dad's birfdee is comin up in five days. Yay! I hope we get to have dinner, and some cake. I love cake! :)

Roast chikin :) mmmm

O hai! My name is Keisha. Thank u for lookin at this blog today. :)


It's Caturday today. It's very sunny here, and boy is it hot! Yipes. It's a gazjllion degrees. I'm glad I can stay inside with the nice air conditioning.


Also, my Mom got roast chicken for lunch. It was very good! I got a little chikin, plus some crunchy skin. Mmmmm! Yum.


I went for walkies with D.R. today. Then I came back inside, and Dad was ridin on his chair with wheels. I like that chair. I wish they made a little one for me. Then I could ride everywhere! I want an electric one that goes vroom, vroom. :)


I was on the couch, and watchin teebee with Mom yesterday, and D.R. walked over. She said nite-nite and gived me a kiss. She even sang a lullabye! :) It was good. It made me feel better. :)


The birdees are singin outside. I can hear them going tweet-tweet-chirp. :) D.R. likes birdees. She said she is happy there is a tree out there, so we can have birds come to visit all the time. :)


I was sittin next to Mom when she was readin the noozpaper. She likes to do the puzzles. I was lookin at teh classified ads, too. They sell lots of stuff there. Maybe I could get my own boat, and be a pirate!

Today is Wensdee. D.R. had to work overtime again. This is the third day of that! D.R. said she is kinda tired, but happy to have a job. I like it 'cause she pets me when she comes home.


I went in the kitchen when Mom was startin to get food ready. She was heatin up some leftover noodles for dinner. Mmm, it smelled good! I wish I could climb on the counter and see it in the dish. The top of the counter is too tall for me, though. Mom's dinner had sauce on it, which made it smell even better. Yummy! :)


D.R. saw a peacock run across the road, when she was drivin home from work! She said it was really pretty and colorful. The bird ran really fast, and it got safely across the street. If I were there, I would have told it the joke about the chicken. I don't know if a peacock would have the same answer, though, because it is not a chicken.


There is a guy who lives across the street and is always fixin his car at nite. I bet it has rockets now. I hear it go vroom vroom sometimes. It is a very shiny car. Maybe he drives it in races. That would be fun! Beep beep. :)

We just had a nice quiet dinner at home. We didn't go out or anything. Mom let me have some Chinese food, and she and D.R. pet me a lot. That was good. :)


Mom and Dad watched a teevee show together. I got to sit on the couch. After that, I went to rest on the floor. Dad gets lots of sleepies now he is home. I like to take naps at the foot of the bed in his room sometimes. A good sekurity guard has be willing to help their hoomans any time. :)


D.R. had to work a lot of overtime today. She was really tired when she came home. Tomorrow, she has to go in early. D.R. said she is glad to have a job. She just likes to take naps when it's all done. I think so, too. :)

Caturday relaxins

Today is Caturday. My Dad is still using his chair with wheels. He is really good at turning corners and stuff. He also taked his medicines, which is good.


D.R. went swimming this morning. I was takin a nap, so I didn't get to walk around the pool. Maybe I will do that later, if Mom goes swimming. I don't know how to swim, I just like it when my hooman friends do that. :)


Mr. Lizard is comin out on the windowsill every day now! Sometimes he pops his head up and down. Then he runs away. I also saw some ducks and little cranes today. There was even a kitteh sittin under a car. Kittehs like places where it's warm. I wish they would sit near some flower bushes, 'cause those are safer.


D.R. got a special new toothbrush. It is electric-powered. The dentist told her the other day that she needs to do more to fight plak. The toothbrush will go Zzzrrrrrr and make her teefs really clean and shiny. :)


D.R. had some breadsticks with dinner. She gived me little pieces of them. Mmmm, they were good! :)

Yay yay yay! My Dad's here! My dad is home!! :)

I has a super big good happy today! My Dad came home from the doctor place forever!! :) :) :) He is all done with his operashun and resting and stuff. Now he is home, and he can watch teevee with me, and scratch my tummy, and give me part of the cookies. :) I love my Dad!


Dad has a special neat chair with wheels, that he uses to get everywhere. He will use that for two weeks, and then give it back to the doctor place. He can also use some metal sticks to walk around. He has a couple of different ones. They go click-click when he moves. It's fun. :)


My Mom and D.R. take me for a lot of walkies now. Dad needs to rest up before he can go outside with me again. That is okay, but I bet it will be real fun when Dad can walk with me. :)


There are lots of ducks and lizards around. The lizards have taken over our windowsill! They like to sit there, and then jump when you go outside. They can run really fast. I try to catch them. They get into the flower bushes first, though.


Okay, I am gonna go now. I need lots of time to sniff my Dad and get him to put the nooz on the teevee. Bye! :)

O hai! My name is Keisha. Thank u for readin mah blog today. I glad to see u. :)


Yesterday was so much fun! We had a big party for my Mom's birfdee. Her real birfdee is on the 18th of July, but she said she wanted to have the party on Sunday, because her familee could only be in the same place that day.


My Dad was allowed to come home from the doctor place for a day! Awesome!! :) :) We were really happy to see him. Dad had a chair on wheels which he used to get everywhere. I wanted to go in the chair, but he just pet me instead. Then he got out of the chair for a little while and sat on the couch. I jumped up, and he hugged me. :) I wuv u, Dad.


Lots of people came over. We had cake, and a big sammich with roast beef and turkee. Wow!! :) I ran from place to place, gettin food and pettings. Lots of people hugged me. :)


At the end of the day, I was still so excited, I did somethin that was kind of a boo-boo. I went to ask D.R. to take me for a walk. I was jumpin all over the place. D.R. hurried real fast to put on her shoes. Before she could do that, I went into the other room and did a oopsie on the floor. Uh-oh. :( D.R. was surprised, but she cleaned it up in a hurry, and threw away the garbage. Then she washed her hands, and pet me and said it was okay. I felt better. :)


There were some ducks that walked across our lawn. They are funny to see. Sometimes they put their feathers up, like a flag on the mailbox. It was almost gonna rain, but it didn't. We got lots of rain the past few days. I was happy to not have any thunder yesterday.


When the party was finished, I sat with Mom, and we watched some teevee. It was a nice day. Mom even said Dad may come home forever on Wensdee or Thursdee of next week! Yay! Yay! :) :) I can't wait.

Wow, it rained a lot. There were big thunder boomie noises in the sky! I don't like that. I went to sit on the couch most of the day. Then it stopped, and Mom came home, so we watched some teevee together. That was okay. :)


My Dad may be visitin from the doctor place tomorrow! Mom is goin to have some cake because her brother and her cousin are visitin, and even though Mom's birthday is the 18th, they are gonna have cake tomorrow. Yay! I like cake. :)


Dad may come home from the doctor place for good on Wensdee or Thursdee. Wow! I can't wait. It'll be so good when he can sit on the couch with me, or maybe I can go sit in his room. I like it when all my human friends are in one place at the same time.


I got a cookie the other day. D.R. eated a vanilla cookie, and she gived me the top part. Mmmm! It was crunchy. I also got some of her leftover chicken and fries from lunch. Wow. :)


There was a kitteh sleeping under the car today! D.R. went outside, and she looked at the car, and the kitteh was under it. She asked it to leave, "Here, kitteh, kitteh," and it left. I guess the car is nice and warm. I hope the kitteh finds a better place to sleep, like by the flowers. There's lots of nice fluffy grass from the lawn there.

Today I am extra extra happy, because my Dad was here!! Yay! :) He stopped by and petted me and hugged me, and I was runnin around him and jumping. :) Then he had to go back to the recovery place, but the doctor said he's doing really well, so maybe Dad can come home for good really soon!! :) Yay!


D.R. went to a doctor today. She talked to her about stuff. The doctor gived her some medicines. There is another appointment next week, 'cause D.R. has to go to the dentist too. D.R. doesn't really like appointments, but she has to go sometimes, and her doctor from today is a nice lady. It costs a lot of green papers. It's kind of like a ibvessmint. Breath mint. Thingy. But after next week, D.R. does not have to go for a while, so that should be good. Then she can come home and have a sandwich with me! :)


D.R. and her Mom had burgers for dinner, and I got to have some. They also had a little bacon. Mmmmm! That was good too. I got bacons! :) I love it when they share food. Oh, boy. :)


It is kinda looking like D.R. may have to work o-ber-time at the office place. They've already been doin tons more stuff than they usually do. But D.R. said it would also be nice to get more green papers, and once the o-ber-time is finished, she can smile and feel more good. D.R. said she is grateful to have a job. She just wants to sit on the couch at the end of the day and pet me on the head. I like that idea very much!! :)


Mom got some special stuff to put in the pool. It made the water stop being all green. Now it is blue! :) Mom and D.R. wanted to go swimmin, but then it started to rain. Aww shucks! :)


Did u know, D.R. saw teh lizord again? It was outside, on our window. It ran away. Lizerds can go really fast. I like to sniff them and look for them when I go out for walks.

Today is Toosdey. It doesn't feel like that, because yesterday was July Fourth. A lot of people set off fireworks. Wheee! I like the pretty colors, though I don't like the noise. I spent a lot of time cuddling with Mom. She kept me safe. D.R. even kissed me on the head a few times. That was good. :)


Did u know, in the morning it is easier for me to hear stuff, 'cause there are not so many people outside? You can hear a truck go vroom from a couple blocks away. Sometimes I like to guess what kind of truck it is, and then see if it goes by my house later. :)


There have been more lizards at my house lately. They are fun to chase when I go on a walk. :) Also, there are birdees that like to swoop down and land on the bushes and lawn. They are funny. Zoom!


Mom said we may know later this week when Dad can come home. Yay! I want my Dad to come home soon. :)

Monday is July Fourth in the U-S-A! :) That means the country is having a big birthday. Happy Birthday, America! :)


Please be safe when people set off the fireworks. Critters can get scared of the big noises. It is best to leave pets at home with some food and water if you are going to see a fireworks show. Do hot let them go outside, unless you are with them and you have the critter on a leash. Give them lots of water in hot weather. Fireworks are for humans only. :)


Of course, the best fun can be snuggling on the couch while u watch the concert from Washington, DC. Share cookies and have a good time!

D.R. saw a deer! When she was gettin a sandwich at a restaurant, she looked at the woods next to the place, and a deer came jumpin through the trees! It went boing, boing, boing, and then it went into the woods again. D.R. says she wished she had her camera. :)


Mom is goin to do some stuff and see Dad. D.R. is gonna feed the fish in a little while. July 4 is on Monday. I hope everybody has a good time! Be careful about the fireworks. All critters should stay inside while the fireworks are going on.
