I has a news. My friend D.R. burned her finger when she was cooking, yesterday. She was trying to make a turkey burger, and her hand touched the side of the pan. Ouch. I think she will be okay. She even gave me some of the turkey! It was good. :)
I got to rest a lot, while Mom and Dad were out at Aunt Fran's. I walked into D.R.'s room a few times. Also, she took me to the lawn. Then we went back inside. I like being in the house, because it was muggy and rained before, but inside it is nice and cool. That is because we have a big box of air machine. Those are important to have in Flory-dah. :)
I has a boo-boo over my left eye. It looks like a pimple. It keeps growing, little by little. Also, my left eye has gotten very cloudy, and I can't really see out of it. My right eye still works. D.R. said she wishes she could fix the boo-boo, but her Mom asked the v-e-t, and he said No. I am too o-l-d to have anesthesia. So, I have to stay with the boo-boo over my eye. I don't likes it, but I can still see with the other eye. Don't worry, I can still walk around. Plus, my hoomins pet me and give me lots of love. That makes it better. :) Maybe I can get an eye patch, so I will look like a pirate! That would be fun. Arrr! :)

Hi Keisha, you're a brave soul. Sometimes it's best not to get the sleepy stuff, too much risk so we'll have to go with whatever comes our way. We hope that your other eye will do the work of two. In any case, your humans will look after you and care for you. I bet that you'll be just fine.

I am sad to read of the boo-boo over your eye. I understand about the Vet not wanting to operate, though. My paws are crossed it heals and you feel better! Glad you have so much love from your humans, that always helps!
