Today, I am still wearing the stupid plastic cone around my neck. This keeps me from biting an infected nail on my paw. I have to wear it until Sunday. Then I have to go back and have it taken off. At least I hope they will, because that's what they told Mom and Dad the other day. My foot is a little better today. It is not losing bloods anymore. That is good.
I have a special bandage which goes on the paw. Mom and Dad have to dip my paw in medicine mixed with water. Then they put on the bandage. Most of the day, except when I'm sleeping, I have to wear the big plastic thing around my head. I don't like it! I just want my foot to get better. I am glad my hoomins care about me, though. Even if I do have to wear it, I'll be happy when we can put the cone away.
Guess what? My friend D.R. went to a job fair in Tampa today! She spoke to a lot of nice people, who gave her information about jobs. That means if she gets hired, she could earn green papers. :) After that, D.R. came home and did even more work applications on the capooter. She also went to the pet store and applied in person! D.R. said she would like that a lot, because she would get to see pets all day and help people too. :)

Not the cone! They say it's for the best when we have to wear 'em but they're so icky to wear. I'm sending you lots of healin' purrs so that you won't have to wear that cone of shame for much longer.
