It is almost New Year's! Do you have any resolutions? :) I hope my hoomin friend D.R. gets a new job. She had a cheezburger today. She said it was tasty! :) Mmm, fries too.

My New Year's wish for 2014 is for all hoomins and critters in need to find good forever homes. :)

Kitmas Countdown!

O hai! My name is Keisha. I am coming to u 'live' from the Rainbow Bridge. :) Hee hee.

Today is Mom-and-Dad Day. The hoomins are having roast beef for dinner! Mom made it in a giant cook pot. I can smell it from all the way up here in Dog Heaven. :) It smells delicious.

D.R. is still looking for work. She is applying to lots of stuff. I have my paws crossed for her. :)

U know what? There are only nine days to go until Kitmas. I hope all of u have a good time! :)

Today, my hoomin friend D.R. is going to an innervoo. She is trying to get a job so she can earn some green papers. When she has green papers, she can pay for stuff. I remember D.R. used to buy little treats and feed them to me. Noms! :) D.R. said that when she gets more green papers, since I am now in Dog Heaven, she will buy a little thing of treats for the shelter. I like that. :)

Did u know, my hoomin friends still don't have a Kitmas tree? I wonder why they are waiting. D.R. said they have a tree somewhere, in storage, which is small and fits on a table. It has lights that go blink blink blink. I hope they use it! :)

My hoomin friend D.R. had a Sad today. She lost her job. A job is something hoomins have so they can has green papers. D.R. is already looking for a new one. I hope she gets it very soon. :)

Do u know what? It's fun to watch teevee sometimes. At the Rainbow Bridge, we get all the channels. Plus, there's popcorn. I like to watch hockey. What is your favorite thing on the teevee? :)

Weekend :)

Hi! My name is Keisha. I am a little spaniel dog who lives at the Rainbow Bridge. I send everybody hello sniffs. :)

Did u know, it is raining where my hoomin lives? She is going to watch some American football on the tee vee and then read some books. She is also having fun listening to music. Weekends are good. :)

U know what is fun? Playing chase the ball. I like to run after a tennis ball or sometimes a jingle ball. We play lots of fun games here at the Bridge. Then, everyone takes a nap.

Walkies

O hai! My name is Keisha. I live up here in Bridge Land. :)

I used to go walkies with my friend D.R. Now every time she goes out to work in the morning, she sees her neighbors walking their four dogs. She said it reminds her of me. :) I like that.

Also, lots of other dogs are walking with their people. D.R. sees hoomins with doggies all the time. D.R. said she will adopt another one when she gets a new place to live. :)

U know what else is fun? Donuts for breakfast. D.R. had one. That gives me an idea. I think I am going to sneak down to the giant fridge here and see if I can get one. Maybe even with some meelks! :)

My hoomin is still working at her temporary job. I keep an eye on her every day. Whenever she gets tired, I woof, and it helps. :)

U know what, our neighbors next door to my old house have four dogs. Four! :) D.R. says it is fun to watch them walk the doggies in the morning. D.R. says she will adopt another dog or cat when she gets a new apartment.

My friend D.R. likes to watch the hockey and football and stuff on the teevee. I used to watch stuff with her. She would pet my back and I would lean on her and try to take cookies if she had them. Cookies are yummy. :)

Hello! :) This is Keisha, the little dog. I live in the Happy Place now. Thank u. :)

My friend D.R. got to have ice cream at work today. It was vanilla! She put caramel and whip cream on it. It was good! :) I like ice cream too.

Here is a picture of me, from when I used to go for walkies with Mom and Dad. I had a pretty pink collar. When I went to the Bridge, Mom and Dad donated lots of my stuff to the shelter. Now some new doggies have fun things to wear. :) That makes me happy!

U know what? D.R. had macaroni and cheese for dinner tonight. I like that! I like cheese. :)

U know what else? Tummy pats are good. D.R. used to rub my tummy a lot, and that would make me feel better. :)

My hoomin friend D.R. didn't have Interwebs at her house for two days. It was crazy! Then they fixed it today. Whew. :)

D.R. got some green papers from her job. That made her feel good. Me too. :)

Caturday

O hai! This is Keisha, the small dog, who lives at the Rainbow Bridge. U can see everything from up here. Wow! :)

Today is Caturday. Guess what? My friend D.R. has a job. :) Yipee! She is working in a temporary contract for an insurance company. She has to answer the phone and tell people about their doctor plans. I am so happy! :) It will only last three months, but it is still good.

D.R. had pancakes for breakfast today. Mmmmmm. Pancakes. :) I love food in my tummy. Here at the Bridge, we can have muffins and donuts and things whenever we want. Sometimes the angels make cookies, and they are really good. :)

Hello from the Happy Place :)

O hai. My name is Keisha, and I am up here at the Bridge. Everything is good here. :) Thank you.

Two days ago, my hoomin friend D.R. gave away my old things to the local shelter. I had lots of toys and some food and medical stuff. Now, I am glad even more, because some other critters get to have good things. :) If u have a chance, please think about giving one green paper or even some old toys or other stuff to the shelter. If u don't have extra stuff, stop by and volunteer. There are lots of critters who just need hugs! Even just a little bit helps. Thanks. :)

U can see a picture of me when I was a littler critter, and had only been with my family a few months. It makes me smile. I hope it makes u smile, too. :)

It is fun up here! I am friends with Diamond, and Admiral Hestorb, and all the other critters who have made their crossing. We chase each other and get belly rubs from the angels. There are lots of treats. :)

At the Rainbow Bridge

Hello, everyone. My name is Keisha. I am a little dog. Thank u from the bottom of my heart for reading this blog.

Today is a very sad day for my human friends, but a day of peace for me. I will be going to the Rainbow Bridge on Thursday morning, the 29th of August, 2013. I will be 16 years young.

I must thank all of you for your great kindness over the years. When I was born, back in 1997, I was adopted by a nice lady named Mrs. Williams. Then in 2004, she became ill and couldn't have me in her home anymore. So she let me find a new home with a family named the Rails. They adopted me after I'd been at the shelter only one day. :)

And that was it! I had a great time in their home. I played, ate, drank, went for countless walkies, and shared my stories with you. We all had a lot of fun. That was great!

Thank you for making my life fun and happy. Please keep the good memories. I will see all of you when our time comes.

Peace to all! :) Gotta go catch the bus with the angels.

I has a Sad News, from the v-e-t today :(

O hai, my name is Keisha. I am a little dog who lives in Flory-dah of the U-S-A. Thanks for reading this blog! :)

I has a News that I need to tell everyone today. I went to the v-e-t, and I got a Thing. It is the Letter C Disease, and they think it went all the way from my paw to my lungs. They do not know how much time I have to live with my hoomins. I am just going to eat and drink and play with my friends, for as long as I can. {{{hugs}}}

I want to thank every hoomin and critter who has read this blog over the years. I will keep posting as long as I am well. All of u are my friends and I give u a special hug. {{{Hug}}}

Please remember to be kind to your hoomin and critter pals, and say u love them, because no one knows when it will be time to go to the Happy Place. All I know is, the Happy Place is very happy, and there is room for everyone.

Caturday time! :)

Hi, everyone. This is Keisha. Welcome to my blog. Thanks for coming. :)

In the picture, u can see me. I have gotten very furry. I still have a little bandage from where my toenail used to be, but it doesn't hurt. :)

My friend D.R. is looking for a job. She went on an innervoo yesterday. She also has to go to a special meeting at a government office on Fries Day. I hope they have donuts, because then I get some too. :)

Do you know, my Mom is watching a movie? It has lots of people in it. Sometimes I know what they are saying, other times it is like this: blah blah blah. At least I get to sit next to Mom's couch and relax. I wish the hoomins would let me pick the teevee show sometimes, though. I like to watch Animal Planet, especially when "Too Cute" or the Dog Show are on. "Too Cute" has puppies and kittens! :) You should watch it, it is very cute.

O hai on Furs Day

Hello, I am Keisha and I say happy Furs Day! :)

Today I am sitting at home, while Mom goes on a fun trip. I don't get to go. :( Mom is going to see her brother (D.R.'s uncle) in Sarasota. I have to stay here. Awww, shucks. Uncle Thomas has four dogs! I want to play with them. But Mom said the trip in the car is too long for me, so I am staying with Dad. I hope Dad takes me for a walk when he gets up from his nap. I bet that is fun. :)

My furs are long now. I am fuzzy like a small bear. :) D.R. pet me on the tummy before. I was lying on my side, and I moved my paw so she could pet my tummy. That was good! :)

The other day, I put my nose in Dad's shoe. Shoes are fun. I used to like to take the tennis ball and put it in the shoe. Now I just do that with a sock, because Dad puts his socks under the table, and I don't know where the tennis ball is. Try this game, you may like it. :)

My foot is okay now! :)

Hello! This is Keisha the dog. I am happy. :) Thank you for reading my blog.

I am very glad this morning, because I went to the v-e-t and she told my humans I don't have to wear the plastic cone on my head anymore. Hooray! Hooray! :) All I have to do is take a little medicine and wear a small bandage on my paw. The v-e-t removed my bad toenail, so it will grow back as a clean new one. I feel much better now. :) Thank u, Doctor Person.

I also want to say thank you to all the hoomins and critters who wished me good luck with my paw. The purrs worked! :)

My friend D.R. has an innervoo on Toes Day. Also, today she has to go to the dentist. Oh wow. Teeth are funny. I bet she comes back smelling like toothpaste! :)

Almost done with the thing on my head

Hi, it's Keisha. Welcome to my dog blog of things I do. Thank u for reading it. :)

I am almost finished with the plastic cone thing that goes on my head. It keeps me from scratching my paw, which has a little boo-boo in it. Two times a day, my human Mom and Dad put medicine on that. Then I have to let it dry. I am going back to the v-e-t on Monday. Hopefully, we'll have the plastic thing taken away, so I can walk around like normal. I am glad I have nice hoomins who take good care of me. Thank u, hoomins. :) {{{hug}}} I am still eating and drinking and going for walkies, so I am doing okay.

I am a dog who has lived a lot of years. I saw this picture, and I thought it would tell everybody lots of good stuff about us senior pets. Give one a chance in your home too, adopt! Thank you. :)

Furs Day update: I am doing better :)

Hi, I am Keisha! This is my blog. Thank u for reading it. I am happy. :)

Today, I am still wearing the stupid plastic cone around my neck. This keeps me from biting an infected nail on my paw. I have to wear it until Sunday. Then I have to go back and have it taken off. At least I hope they will, because that's what they told Mom and Dad the other day. My foot is a little better today. It is not losing bloods anymore. That is good.

I have a special bandage which goes on the paw. Mom and Dad have to dip my paw in medicine mixed with water. Then they put on the bandage. Most of the day, except when I'm sleeping, I have to wear the big plastic thing around my head. I don't like it! I just want my foot to get better. I am glad my hoomins care about me, though. Even if I do have to wear it, I'll be happy when we can put the cone away.

Guess what? My friend D.R. went to a job fair in Tampa today! She spoke to a lot of nice people, who gave her information about jobs. That means if she gets hired, she could earn green papers. :) After that, D.R. came home and did even more work applications on the capooter. She also went to the pet store and applied in person! D.R. said she would like that a lot, because she would get to see pets all day and help people too. :)

I has a cone

Hi there, I am Keisha. I am a dog. Thank u for reading my blog today. :)

Today, I went to the v-e-t for my follow-up visit about my paw, which had a boo-boo spot because my nail was messed up. I got a cone on my neck, so I can't reach the paw. Oh noes! I do not like it. Now I have to walk around for a week with this thing. I just hope my paw heals, with the special medicine I get. Mom and Dad have to watch me a lot, so I don't bump into things. Later, I'm getting a bandage that goes on my foot. I can't wait until this week is over.

Mom and Dad put my food on a new plate, so I can reach it. Also, I was able to drink water without a problem, so that was good. :)

The only good part of this is that I got more pettings and luv. My hoomin friends felt very sorry for me, and they pet me a lot.

Don't worry about me, though. I am still okay, I can eat and drink and go outside, and I spend lots of time with my hoomin friends, so I will get better. Thank u also to the doctor, even though she gave me this silly thing. I see u later. Thanks. Bye! {{{Luv}}}

Caturday time! :)

O hai! Today is Caturday. Welcome to my blog post. I glad. :)

In the picture up there, you can see fireworks. D.R. went to a baseball game with her Mom a couple weeks ago. There were fireworks after the game. They were fun! D.R. said they were very colorful. They made a loud noise, so maybe it's good that I wasn't there, because I would be skeered. I was safe at home instead. :)

It is very sunny today. I took Dad out for a couple of walks. Then we went home, and I sat on the floor. Dad watches teevee, and I sit with him, next to the couch. He likes to have snacks sometimes, and if I am lucky, I get a little bit too! :) Also, he rubs the top of my head. That feels good. Thank u, Dad.

D.R. went swimming the other day. She put on a light in the pool. It is in the wall. That makes the pool very bright at night. D.R. said it made pretty ripples in the water. :) Also, D.R. went for a walk in the park today. She said it was fun because she saw the pretty lake, and there were lots of birdees and plants on the trail.

Yesterday, I got popcorn! D.R. had some, and I went to her room, and she gave me a few bits of corn. Mmmmm, they were good. They were cheese flavor! :)

Wins Day :)

O hai! Thank u for reading this blog today. I am Keisha, the dog. I say welcome. :)

My paw is doing better now. It is not losing bloods anymore. I can walk as normal, which makes Mom and Dad very happy. :) I went out for a lot of walkies yesterday, and I didn't have any problems. I don't have to wear my bandage, and I don't have to go back to the v-e-t either. That is much better. :)

Yesterday, D.R. had popcorn. I followed her when she had the dish, and she gave me a few pieces. Mmmm! They were good.

D.R. went to an innervoo yesterday. Then a couple other companies called her, to say they were looking at maybe getting her a job. She is happy! I am too. :)

There are lots of lizards where I live. They like to run in and out of the bushes. They also run on the windows. Some of them are tiny. Others are the size of a human finger. I think they are funny. :)

Mom is on the phone now. I don't understand the phone. It goes blah blah blah. But I think if you call certain places, they can bring u food. I think I will try it later. :)

Sundae :) home with friends

Hello! My name is Keisha. I am a dog. Thank u for reading my post today. :) I like that.

I had a little oops. Today, my foot started to bleed again, a little bit. Ouch. It was not very much, though. It stopped after a while. My pawrens are not taking me to the v-e-t yet, but they are watching to make sure I rest a lot and don't walk unless I need to go outside. :) It is good to have kind hoomins who take good care of me. Thank u, hoomins. :)

My Mom and Dad's teevee set was messed up today. None of the remote buttons would work. Oh boy. Mom and Dad tried to fix it. They pressed a lot of buttons and said a lot of words. It is scary when the teevee does not work. They fixed it, so now it is better, and we all feel relaxed again. Whew! :)

Yesterday, I went in D.R.'s room and I almost tried to pull the lamp wire. I like to sniff and pull things sometimes, because I get curious about where the wires go. D.R. said don't pull the cord, though, so I didn't. She just pet me, and everything was okay. I went to sleep after that. :)

My furs are nice and long. D.R., my friend, was petting me, and she said my neck was very furry. I just liked that. :) It is good to be scratched there because I can't reach the neck by myself.

Fries Day :)

O hai! My name Keisha. I glad u are here. Thank u for reading mah blog. :)

My hoomin friend D.R. went to a job innervoo yesterday. She said it was interesting. When she came back, she pet me on the head. That was good. :) She also has an innervoo for Monday. It is at an eye doctor's office. It is very close to where we live, so maybe it would be even better.

Yesterday I had an accident on the carpet. Mom and Dad weren't mad, they just cleaned it up. :) There was a car outside the house at 3:00 a.m. Some people in it were being very loud, so that Mom and D.R. woke up. They were going to call the police, but the car left soon after that. Whew.

It is sunny today. My friend D.R. may go out to the park. I think I will stay home and take a nap on the floor. Then maybe I'll go watch Dad play compooter games. Okay, I see u later. Bye! {{{Luv}}}

Toes Day, my toes are better :)

O hai! This is mah blog, I am Keisha the dog. Thank u for reading it. :) I glad.

Did u know? My foot is better! I went back to the v-e-t, and the doctor person took off my bandage, and cleaned my foot. The cut was gone. Now my paw is healed and I can walk again. :) Yay!

My hoomins were very happy after they took me home from the v-e-t. I was happy, too. I drank lots of water and sat down to rest. Then Mom and Dad watched teevee, like normal.

Also, it is D.R.'s Dad's birthday today! Wow! He and Mom went to lunch in Tarpon Springs. Then they came back. I was glad to see them again. I like it when all my friends are home. :)

In the picture, you can see a really big lizard. He is sitting on the row above the plants. We have lots of lizards here. They love to climb on our windows and run in and out of the plants.

D.R. has an innervoo on Thursday. :) She is looking forward to it. I hope she gets a good job. I am proud of my hoomins. :)

I had a Sad thing happen today. I was walking around and one of my paw nails started to bleed. There was blood on the floor. Mom and Dad took my to the v-e-t, and they put a bandage on my foot. Now I have to walk with it until the boo-boo gets better. I am so glad my hoomins take good care of me. Thank u, Mom and Dad, and the doctor person. :)

U can see me in this picture. I got a little hanky to put on my neck. It is just for looks, my only boo-boo is the foot. I think I will be better soon. :)

Today is very sunny. I like to watch stuff out the window. There are some beautiful birdees here. I think I will sit and watch teevee with Dad, though. He has something to eat. :) Thank u, I see u later. {{{Luv}}}

I found something neat over at this site called the Uncommon Dog. The picture tells you how important it is for critters to be safe and cool during the summer months. Where I live, it is very hot right now, so we have to be careful. For instance, I drink lots of water. :) Thank u to the nice folks at the site for letting me use the picture.

My friend D.R. did well on her innervoos. She also applied to a lot of other places, by the computer. Then she came home and watched some teevee. I went in D.R.'s room, and she pet me. Yay! :)

D.R. went swimming today. She looked like a turtle! :) Hee hee. Then she came back and had a nap. I like that too.

Mom did the crossword today. I went over to help her. I put my nose on the paper. Then Mom got lots of words. :)

Toes Day rain

Today it is raining a lot where I live! Oh boy, we keep having noisy storms. I don't like that. I only went for a couple walks outside. I hope the sun comes out later. :)

On the news, everyone is looking at the baby Prince of England. He is cute! He waved his little fingers when he came out of the hospital. I like him. :)

D.R. did well at her innervoos yesterday. She spoke to two companies. D.R. was nervous, but she came home and said she thinks she has a good chance with these places. I let her pet me, and that made her feel even better. :)

Okay, now I am going to see if Mom will give me some chicken. She is cooking lunch late because she was out doing stuff. I hope I get some food! Thanks. :)

It is Caturday :)

O hai! I am Keisha the dog. Welcome to the blog. I hope u likes it. :)

Today is Caturday. That means it is a day to have fun. I am sitting in a sunbeam in the living room. Later, I bet Dad takes me for a walk. Mom went out to her exercise class, so I have the living room all to myself. :) Maybe I'll read Mom's book. She put it on a table. I can reach it! :) I sat next to her when she did the crossword yesterday. I bet she got lots of words.

My hoomin friend D.R. has two innervoos next week. They are both on Monday. :) I am glad. I hope she gets a job from one of them. She said she feels a little less skeered, too.

Dad gave me my breakfast this morning. We sat around and watched the nooz. Dad also read the paper. When I used to jump on the couch, I would sit on the paper, and it felt good on my tummy. :)

It rained a lot today. Oh, boy. I did not like it, because of the thunder noises, and I got a little wet when I went outside for walkies. So I had to wait until the sun came out again. :) Now it is better.

D.R. is still looking for a new job. I hope she gets one soon. She is already calling lots of places.

U know what? Baby herons are cute. They walk the same way as the grown-up ones. D.R. likes to see them. :)

I snuggled up to D.R. a lot today. That made her feel better for the job thing. She also scratched the back of my neck. That felt good. :)

There was a good special today on teevee. It was called "Clash of the Gods." They talked about the stories of Hercules, and "The Lord of the Rings" in another episode. D.R. liked the show a lot.

I has a not good news. D.R., my hoomin friend, lost her job. She has to look for another one. We all had a big Sad when we found out yesterday. D.R. is going to try and find another job, though, so we still have hope. :) Don't worry, I bet she finds a good one soon.

It is raining today! Boy, is it loud. It is thundering a lot, and the rain is all over the place. I don't like that. It means I have to wait to take walkies, and my hoomin friends can't go swimming until the rain is gone. The only good thing about rainy days is, I get to watch teevee with Dad.

O hai! my name is Keisha. Thank u for reading my little blog post today. :) It is Wins Day.

Yesterday, I felt pretty good. :) I spent a lot of time with Mom and Dad. They took me for walkies. When we came back, I rested in the house and felt the nice air conditioning. The carpet felt good on my tummy. :) I also cleaned my paws.

D.R. goes to work every day. I wish I could go with her. I would press the compooter buttons. Also, we could share potato chips. :)

There are birdees chirping outside. I think they are sparrows. I have also heard parakeets. Those are cute. :)

I am not scared of the garage door like I used to be. Dad opened it this morning, and I didn't bark. I still keep us safe, though. We haven't had any squirrels get in the house.

Today was good! It was sunny, and I got to sit with Mom. She vacuumed the living room. I didn't like the noise, but when Mom was done with the vacuum, she put it away and sat on the couch by the teevee. Then we just watched some shows together. That was good. :)

U know what? D.R. went to the library. They had a poster that said on Wednesday of this week coming up, they will have adoptions of dogs and cats! Yay! :) Adoption is good, because u save a life. :)

U know what D.R. had before, too? A steak sandwich. She said it was good, and they put really hot peppers in it. I hope she gives me a little later on, from the leftover half. I can't have the hot peppers, because of my tummy, but I bet the bread and steak are really good. :)

There was a show on the teevee called Pets.TV. They have a whole channel called that. D.R. says she wants to get it when she has a new apartment. She said she will visit me a lot. :)

Please be safe and keep all your critter friends indoors. They can get scared of the noise of fireworks, and you don't want them to run out. So, keep them inside and maybe give them a tiny piece of vanilla cupcake. With a little frosting. :)

I has a bad news. I was very sick the other day. I threw up a lot of times and I had to keep running outside to go walkies. Mom and Dad were even worried I may have to go to the v-e-t. But I didn't. Today, I got better. I ate my food and drank lots of water, and I didn't get sick again. :)

Today, there was rain and thunder. I didn't like that. I also didn't like when people started to do fireworks. Where I live, it's almost our big holiday, the Fourth of July. I like July 4th, but I don't like loud noises. I will have to hide in Mom and Dad's room.

Also, because of my tummy, I don't get as much people food from the table anymore. I miss it. People get to eat all sorts of good stuff. It smells so good! But I do get dog food three times a day.

O hai, it is Fries Day today :)

Hi there! I am Keisha. Thank u for coming to my dog blog today. :) In this picture, u can see a statue of a shark. My hoomin friend D.R. saw it at a baseball game. :)

D.R. got paid today at her job. That means they put green papers in her bank. That made her feel good. Me, too. :)

I felt pretty good this afternoon. I went for walkies, it was sunny and my pawrents and I had a lot of fun. :) There was a Bad Thing the other day, though: a Bad Person broke into somebody's house and tried to take some stuff. So the person in the other house called the police. They came with their cars and started to look for the Bad Person. I hope they find them soon. Don't worry, nobody got hurt and we are okay. :)

I got a cookie! I got a cookie! Yesterday, my friend D.R. had some chocolate chip cookies. She broke off little bits of them, and gave me some with no chocolate in them. Wow, they were good. :) Also, tonight I got some chicken when my friends were having dinner. It was good too. :)
